The research team, led by Matthew Rosen, PhD, demonstrated the technical feasibility of using ultra-low field (ULF) MRI for breast imaging. The findings are promising, suggesting that LFMRI can detect essential breast features and some abnormalities without radiation or injected contrast. This opens up exciting possibilities for complementing existing screening tools.
